PAUL CROUCH: SEX, DRUGS (BUT NO ROCK & ROLL)

Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) president Paul Crouch is currently having legal troubles. Besides being investigated by the FCC for numerous broadcasting violations, Crouch and a fellow evangelist are being sued by the parents of a Texas teenage boy for running a sex-for-drugs ring at a TBN-owned drug rehabilitation ranch in that state. Crouch is best known as the host of the TBN "Praise The Lord" show where he and wife Jan (a Tammy Faye wannabe) preach the fundie line. Guest rock-bashers on PTL have included Bob Larson and Jeff Fenholt. Fenholt is a rabid born again who claims he was both the vocalist for Black Sabbath and Deep Purple until Jesus showed him the way. No evidence can be found that he was in either band. In fact, Deep Purple has taken legal steps forbidding him from claiming he was ever part of their organization.
